What sets HTU® apart from the rest?
The difference between the existing training and certification channels and Hard Times University® is the focus on the community generated value. By pulling together as a community we can dramatically reduce the cost of traditional training mechanisms as well as expand rapidly into hot new areas of growth. The training is not free. Meeting rooms cost real money and the world class trainers who deliver the training need a reasonable fee for the time they devote to do the training.
HTU® participants are asked to contribute to the cost of covering the class operations as well as assist in the promotion of the organization via direct contact person to person marketing. Each participants is asked to reach our to 10 people in their network that are open to the concept, have a need for what it has to offer as well as are able to avail it financially and also benefit from it. Further we rely on our dedicated alumni base for ongoing marketing support. This personalized marketing methodology has been proven to be more beneficial than paid advertising. We are grateful for the personal endorsements that our alumni provide. Please visit our alumni page to see what past graduates had to say about their HTU® experience.
HTU® has a limited number of tuition paying scholarships unfortunately they are limited to single class opportunities and are extremely limited in numbers.
This organization is community driven and focused. The local chapters have a Conductor that is the leader for the chapter. Each event has a Porter that organizes and coordinates the event. The university offers a ton of volunteer opportunities to help you stay sharp, current and engaged.
Just because one is not currently receiving a paycheck does not mean that one should allow their skills to atrophy. Most efforts in the HTU® community are run in an agile/scrum like manner. This approach to managing effort supports a modern path both learning and development. Self organization is encouraged and supported. Our goal is to make our students industry current, sharp and highly employable.
Lean on us in these hard times and set your career on a whole new career path.
